Shadow the Great is a New York City based hip hop artist and a member of the LOAF collective. Shadow began to write music after hearing "If I ruled the world" by Nas and Lauryn Hill. Falling in love with hip hop at that point Shadow became emersed in the hip hop culture and became a Grafitti writer and B-boy. Inspired by the likes of Talib Kwali, Mos Def, and Method  Man;  Shadow describes his music with one word "HONEST", he says "If the writing is honest it cannot be separated from the man who wrote it". When Shadow's not writing music he's in his basement producing music for his crew and himself. Straight out of BROOKLYN, New York City there is a new "great" on the scene, he goes by the name Shadow The Great.
